Did you know? Main St. wasn't the only place to shop back in the 1950's and 60's?
Here, the Midway community, located on York St. near the Springs Cotton Mill, is seen in March of 1952.
It featured music, grocery and pharmacy stores along with a bank and dry cleaners. Midway was popular through the early 1970's.
