NASCAR legend Ned Jarrett, father of Dale Jarrett, visits First Baptist Church in November of 1965.
Jarrett won the NASCAR Grand National Championship the same year, which is the equivalent of today's Cup Series.
At the time, Jarrett and his family were living just down the road in Camden. Nearly the entire town welcomed him home and celebrated his Southern 500 win just two months earlier.
