City Drug - Feb. 17, 1968 - Lancaster SC Photos
Lyndon B. Johnson was president, a Hershey bar was just five cents and the song that was burning up the charts that day was Otis Redding's Sittin' on the Dock of the Bay.
City Drug, located on the Springs Block of Main St. was more than just a drug store. It was a gathering place to catch up with friends.
Many friendly arguments over Clemson and South Carolina football took place at the snack bar here over the years. (Photo by Lee Studio/Image on File with Travis Bell Photography)
