Williams Department Store - 1968 - Lancaster SC
The front of Williams Department Store, located at 205 S. Main St., is seen in this Feb 17, 1968 photo. With so many stores located in downtown Lancaster during that era, owners competed to see who could have the most attractive storefront windows. Tags can be seen on many items. Dresses were $8.99 and men's golf shirts were just $2.99. (Photo by Lee Studio/Image on File with Travis Bell Photography)
