The Heavens: A Different View - A New Book by Dr Danny Faulkner

Former USC Lancaster professor Dr. Danny Faulkner has published a new (and amazing) book.

The Heavens: A Different View, is a photographic journey through the created cosmos, packed with breathtaking astrophotography by Faulkner and his colleagues, Scripture, and short essays on the uniqueness of our galaxy and beyond.

Faulkner, who taught in Lancaster for 26 years, now serves as an astronomer, author, and speaker for Answers in Genesis, based in Kentucky.

The images in this book are jaw dropping. And the perspective that Dr Faulkner gives about the photographs is eye opening.

If you'd like to order the book, it's available at the Answers in Genesis website and on Amazon. (Links below)

By-Pass Looking West - 1983 - Lancaster SC Photos

Amazing view of the by-pass in 1983. Chick-fil-A, Verizon, Walgreens and many more locations aren't even a thought yet in this aerial photograph. And there is no stop light yet at the intersection of Gillsbrook Rd. and the by-pass. What else do you see in this photograph?
